This week you are required to read the summaries from Books 1-5 in the The Odyssey Student Guide. In addition you are required to read Book 5 of The Odyssey and annotate the text. You will be instructed in class on methods of doing this, and we will do a close reading of Book 5 together to enable you to see how an annotated text might look.
